“In the quiet of winter, when the world feels dimmer, there is a light inside you that never goes out. It softens the edges, steadies your breath, and guides you back to yourself.” ~ Bree Chapman
We had a reason to be extra grateful this Christmas. Aunt Charlene suffered a severe heart attack just a few days after Thanksgiving, thanks to a 100% blockage and a nasty case of RSV. She is our Christmas miracle. I couldn’t go see her because of the high risk of bringing RSV back to Shero, so today was the first chance I had to appreciate her in person. Many of the Central Kentucky family gathered at Aunt Lois’ for fellowship and laughter and gifts and Charlene. I give thanks for Charlene and my family, and thanks be to God that she was able to overcome such a challenge.
