aunts
I had six aunts. Shero’s sister, Janet (2022), and Hero’s sister, Linda (1995), have crossed over to the other side. Tonight, Missy and I had dinner with our four remaining aunts, Barbara Ann, Charlene, Mable, and Lois Nell. They’ve all helped me so much in life, and they have been my rock in these last weeks. Mable flies back to her beloved Florida tomorrow, as the rest of us carry on in the Bluegrass. Not pictured were Macie, McKenzie, and Kamden Moore, who headed outside lickity split. I am beyond grateful for each of them and the love and kindness they’ve shown me.
