I missed tonight’s keynote speaker because I was having such a great dinner with Alisa. You first met her way, way back in 2013, when the outhouse was a little more than a year old. I think Alisa and I have known each other since we were a little more than a year old. At least it feels that way. Tonight was the first chance we’ve had to really catch up because every other time we’ve seen each other as adults, it’s always been at an event, or in a hurry, or in some situation where we just couldn’t catch up properly. Tonight, we properly caught up, and I will never regret missing the keynote because of it. If you’ve got a best friend like this, you know exactly what I mean, and with every passing year, I value our friendship even more. Color me blessed beyond all deserving.
