After Hero’s casket was placed in the new resting place, each sibling said a few words, followed by a brief prayer and Amazing Grace. When it came Charlene’s turn to say something, she said, “Shorty was a good man, and you can’t keep a good man down.” I laughed so hard I thought I’d fall into the grave. And look at the rest of them laughing. Perfect timing.
