“Honored are the ones who hum back at bees, clap for rain, and admire the architecture of spiderwebs.” ~ Unknown
Last time I saw Robin, she gave me a fig tree. Today, it was time to plant it. The plan is to clean up and expand the Robin Dalton Memorial Garden to include the beautiful Brown Turkey Fig Tree. I’ll work on it over the summer because there is another piece to add from Judy Sackett. I haven’t gotten that piece yet because I haven’t decided what it will be, but it’s coming. All of this gives me a way back into the gardening practice I did so much when I bought the house. I very much enjoy gardening, and the last decade has been all work, school, and family dinners. Now, it’s time to pivot to music, art, gardening, and friends. It starts with the fig tree.
