Oh Ruby
This is Ruby. Ruby has a middle name, like any good mountain girl, but do I remember it? Of course not. Ruby may be the cutest, softest, sweetest Dachshund I have ever met (no offense to Ken and Crystal’s Teeny Weenie, who I love so good), and let me tell you, every person in Bank of the Mountains was fighting over who got to take her out for her pee break. Kevin Collins was taking pictures to send to his wife, Kristy, because who wouldn’t want to see such a cutie? Ruby was Jodi’s 50th birthday present from her daddy, and boy, did he hit it out of the park. I stopped in Friday, as I often do when I’m in town, and like everybody else, I was smitten at first sight. I threatened to bring her home with me for Lord Basil, since Scrappy is too old and grumpy to play, but in the end, I couldn’t tear her away from her mama. They’re already as attached as can be, as it should be.
