Sharon got to Maggie’s just in time. The first of three “eminent” foals dropped a few hours later. She was on hand to help – mission accomplished. But before I left her for the adventure, we three old friends walked out to see the first foal of the season, whom you met last night. Of course, the ever-photogenic Maggie looked as beautifully natural as possible, and we snapped a Kopana-style selfie for fun. I love these gals so much. I’m not at all surprised we’re outstanding in a field after all these years. I definitely need more of it.
