dogwood winter
I reckon the cold snap we had a few weeks back was Redbud Winter because this cold snap sure coincided with the dogwood blooming, making it Dogwood Winter. Their delicate blossoms seem no worse for the wear. In fact, the seem brighter today than ever. Maybe they knew this was Earth Day when even the bunnies don’t shy away. It really was a wonderful day, and I’d be alright making every day Earth Day. There is no Planet B, and why would we want one when this one is so spectacular.
