It’s Sharon’s last night in the States for this trip. Mom really wanted to make her dinner. She went all out, too, with open-face roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn pudding, and pineapple upside-down cake. Stacy joined us, and we ate till we were full as ticks, then laughed till Sharon’s ribs hurt. We’d gone to the Three-Day Event at the Horse Park earlier in the day, saw some peeps we knew, some beautiful cross-country jumpers, and over-priced t-shirts. Ending with great fellowship was a beautiful thing. I’m sure gonna miss Sharon. We all are. She couldn’t have come at a better time for me or for Maggie and Reg.
