Look at this place. Scenes like this were what I was treated to on yesterday’s journey. I drove the backroads to Carrollton where the conference was held. The road roughly followed the Kentucky River from Frankfort to the confluence with the Ohio River. It was an area of Kentucky I had never driven through, and it was gorgeous. Two old houses caught my eye, and this was one of them. I was kicking myself for not taking my camera with me, but that just means I have extra incentive to travel this way again.
