a new day
Though not entirely complete, this is my new office. It has a door, a huge window, and a killer 27″ Mac. The desk is old and wooden; a solid build, sturdy and dependable. The window ledge is marble and deep, just begging for more plants. The photo on the wall came with the room; the first class of female ROTC cadets at UK. By the end of the day the white board was peppered with URLs and other jargon. The guest chair hugged the desk where its occupant, my very funny, smart, kind boss Doug Boyd, sat all day coaching. I walked in feeling overwhelmed. I walked out feeling at home. I am so, so, so, so fortunate, and so happy to be a part of something wonderful.
