I got an e-card from Stacy this morning. It was an anniversary card. I couldn’t figure out what she was talking about. Then I saw it. The last line read, “Happy Anniversary on your fifth year at the Nunn Center.” I was a little shocked, actually. It feels like I just moved there. Nobody else mentioned it, including me. Then again, I doubt anybody but me and Stacy even know. The day was otherwise unremarkable except for finding this guitar pick dropped by a recent interviewee. I kinda giggled to myself when I saw it. I’ve been playing some music lately, so it was like a little love note from the Universe. A Happy Anniversary pick, if you will. I gladly accept e-cards and picks.
