whole package

I came home from work to find a package in my mailbox, half expecting it to be mystery seeds from China. But, no. It was a stupendous surprise from my old friend Scott McClatchy in Philly. Back in 2017 he asked me to track a song for his upcoming CD, so up the road to Rook House Studios with Johnny Chapman I went. Scroll on down to see the first video from the album. It’s pretty cool to be on a CD with so many great players, but I’m most excited to make music with Scott. This guy is one of the best human beings to ever walk this earth. He has gotten up every morning since the pandemic lockdown to record a song and put it out into the world to brighten our days. He’s made over 150 recordings now. His heart, his politics, his ethics, his morals, his music is all in the right place and I love him to the moon and back. To say I’m honored to be a tiny part of this project is beyond an understatement.
