These are troubled times in America. May everyone – regardless of color, religion, gender, orientation, or anything else that might qualify as “other” – feel safe and welcome, heard and appreciated. May compassion, civility, and peace be our weapons. I’ve prayed this prayer for many years, and I will continue to pray this prayer until we learn to treat one another the way Christ asked. “Love one another.”
