mean girls…. and Jeff
The gang of four managed to work in a breakfast with our wayward sister, Jen Bartlett, while she was in town between lunches and dinners with her growing fan base. Jeff and I both gave ourselves heat strokes yesterday and nursed headaches with coffee. I don’t know about Jeff, but I felt 110% better after a cuppa. Not so good that I came home and went back into the yard for more gardening, though. No. I decided that one brush with heat stroke was enough for one weekend. Instead, Judy came over for a few more hours of chat. Every time she has been to my house, it’s only been to pick me up to go somewhere, so she’d never met the boys. They adored her, of course, and I think it was mutual. The rest of the day has been nice and cool inside, where the dogs napped, and I snacked like I was a skinny twentysomething again.
