My one and only apple to spring forth from the ancestor fruit trees has ripened. It also served as a small snack for a Bluejay. That didn’t ruin my smile though. There’s enough for me and the bird to go around. I’m just tickled I have an apple after five years. Leo, too, enjoyed the apple. So much that he wanted to kill it. He did not. #winning
