What a gorgeous day in the Bluegrass. While I was mowing the lawn I couldn’t help noticing the turn of some leaves. The oak tree is shedding its leaves, and my nandina, above, will be glowing red before long. About two weeks ago the dogwoods were beginning to look fall-ish. The cool, wet weather this summer seems to be moving things along a bit faster than usual. I will enjoy the color.
