Despite all the illness, Angie remembered to give me the gift(s) she had been collecting for me and meant to mail just before she got sick in April. There were lots of sparkly crystals to hang from my kitchen windows and crow-themed stuff, like this fabulous coffee mug. In case I haven’t mentioned it, Angie and I adore crows. We talk about them all the time. I sent her one of artist Steve Heartsill’s iron crows, which she has prominently displayed in her living room. I love crows almost as much as I love Angie and my cawfee mug.
