5th anniversary
Ordinarily, our little group of UK Librarians that Laura Hall put together years ago meets at Shakertown during the week, but two of us – Jen and Amy – have gotten jobs out of town since our last gathering. To make sure they could join us, we convened on a Saturday. Little did we know that Kentucky would have a snowy December, preventing Amy from joining us for our fifth-anniversary gathering. It’s hard to believe we’ve been gathering for five years, but I guess we have. What I know for certain is that I value the friendships beyond measure, and I look forward to many more weekend gatherings. Nobody had to leave early to get back to the office.
