Today brought sunshine in the form of three co-workers and a celebratory lunch. Johanna Ball, center, is graduating and leaving us for better things. She’s gotten a couple of interviews around the country already. I know she’ll do great things wherever she lands. Meanwhile, we’ll be left forever trying to fill the hole she leaves in our department. She has worked for us since she was an undergrad, and now with a Master’s under her belt, she has come to the end of the road with us. We will miss her, but I know she’ll brighten the lucky library/archive that gets her.
