the kids are alright
Six-year-olds might laugh 300 times a day, but this bunch of adults can give ’em a run for their money. I miss Judy being around the office. I’m glad she’s retired and enjoying herself, but she could always make me laugh and lift my spirits, and Jeff always brings a smile when I see him. He has supported and encouraged me from day one. We three sneaked away from campus and had a Christmas lunch of greasy burgers and grilled ham and cheese sandwiches. It was good but not as good as catching up with two of my all-time favorite people. They were the best part of my week.
