I haven’t had a Christmas tree in years because it’s just me here, and until this year, Lilly the not-so-wee house panther, would have been true to her name and attacked it with great verve. Sharon is a big fan of Christmas; to prove it, she has four Christmas trees at home. It was important to have one here, and we found an incredible bargain on a slim, pre-lit tree yesterday. Behold – Christmas has come to The Lodge. Shoot, I was so inspired, I made cookies today, and as far as I can remember, that’s the only time I’ve made cookies from scratch. Not only were they edible, they were downright delicious.
