“Sometimes we look for those thunderous things to happen in our life for our lives to change or go in the other direction. We seek the miracle. We seek the parting of the seas, the moving of the mountains. But no, it’s a quiet thing. At least for me it was.” ~ Ben Vereen

In the pouring rain I saw Him sitting on this branch just outside my cozy, dry office. I grabbed my camera and umbrella and went to say hello. Hawk often sits in and around the President’s yard. He lets me get unusually close at times. He feels protective. I always seem to see Him when I need to feel that protection the most. It has been that kind of week, too, and I am infinitely grateful to Hark for looking out for me.
