Today was the library’s holiday luncheon (or just lunch, as we say in the hills) at Kroger Field. I got to visit with some of my favorite people. You’ve seen most of them lately as we have feasted for the holidays in other locales, but Judy and Tari Keller are both library retirees, and I haven’t had a chance to visit with them in a while. It was wonderful to visit with them. Judy and I won a table centerpiece (fresh fir, flowers, blueberries, and holly berries). After lunch, I gathered with Laura and her reference GAs to talk about our newspapers and how to find them (there are several places). It was a great way to end a jovial, though soggy day. More days with friends are on my wish list for 2025.
