After I got my nap out at 3 pm, yes, I said 3 in the afternoon (I might have been a little tired), I went next door to help Mom put up her Christmas decorations and eat the most incredible banana bread I’ve ever had. Mom made the bread yesterday in honour of Stacy’s birthday, and boy, did she hit it out of the park this time. She combined two recipes and then improvised the rest. I told her she better write it down because it really is the best banana bread I’ve ever eaten. With Christmas songs on the radio, the misty rain, and the smell of freshly baked bread, the Christmas Spirit was set. Now, we’re ready to celebrate with family and friends.
