the man, the myth, the legend
I ran into this sexy beast at Han Roo Ri today. Got seated beside him and didn’t even notice until I sat down. He didn’t recognize me either. We put it off to the the hats and snow and Friday and Christmas just around the corner. He got to meet Jen, too, before we dug into some perfect Korean food on a cold, cold day. Dave is playing with 10 Foot Pole at the Green Lantern on December 27, where he says, “Come on out & I’ll have drum tutorials for such songs as “The Needle & the damage done,” “Dust in the Wind,” “Gilligans” and more.” He is a hoot and running into him made my day, and Jen made my day taking a picture of the two of us being silly. Pretty great way to ease into Christmas, eh? Oh, but wait, there’s more. For years now, everybody has been all about the movie Love Actually at Christmas. I missed the whole thing, so I thought I’d check it out and see what all the hubbub has been about. It’s so great that I couldn’t make today’s post until it was over because I actually watched it (see what I did there?). I might even watch it again. Been a pretty good day I’d say.
