“Now, this is not our first rodeo, so I’m not excluding the possibility of set backs. At best, the road ahead is fraught with danger. But today is Christmas Eve. And I’m here to tell you that light shines in the darkness, and unconditional love can be found in that most humble setting, a feed trough. So, I quote Tiny Tim and say ‘God bless us everyone.’ Merry Christmas.” ~ Ken Bailey

torso please, Santa

Stacy and I have a tradition of having lunch at Red Lobster on Christmas Eve followed by the Candlelight service at First Presbyterian followed by a viewing of White Christmas. Well, we did White Christmas yesterday with the Lunch Ladies, and by the time the candlelight service rolled around I felt rotten. The lunch was delicious and the company great. She started me laughing with “All I want for Christmas is a torso,” which resulted in the photo here. Despite feeling rotten by day’s end (sinus infection rearing its head I think), I had a really great day and I’m really thankful for my tradition with the best Red Lobster Christmas Eve partner I could ask for.
