Mom and I went to the 25th Collage production at UK’s Singletary Center for the Arts. Neither of us had ever attended before, but I know a few folks who go yearly. I can see why. We enjoyed it so much that it may become an annual event for us, too. The show is two hours of musical adventures by University of Kentucky music, chorale, and voice majors. Community groups like the Lexington Singers, the Lexington Children’s Choir, Paul Lawrance Dunbar and Woodford County High Schools, and soloists like Whit Whitaker get in on the act. There are others I’ve forgotten, I’m sure. Suffice it to say everyone was really good, and it was a wonderful way to start the Christmas season.
