“I’m so ready to march into 2021 with my head up, my mask on, my heart open and break all the things…and while you don’t have to be in that place, my thought is…don’t let anyone make you afraid to hope. No matter the darkness we might find ourselves in.” ~ Ashleigh Qualls Hernandez

begone 2020

Above: What we collectively thought of 2020. Below: How we choose to welcome 2021. Bad things happen to good people. Good things happen to bad people. 2020 is proof of that, as if we needed reminding that life is a bumpy ride. Get out your surfboards, kids. Make that list of resolutions you’ll forget by Saturday. Eat all the foods, drink all the drinks, hug all the people in your bubble twice because they deserve it, and you do, too. Put on your mask. Be well. Stay well. Let’s bid this damnable year so long and look forward to that party we’ll get to have together, maybe even by summer. By the way, this post concludes the ninth full year of the outhouse.
