“To be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.” ~ Nelson Mandela
Rebecca Brereton-Farr, left, turned 17 years old. Today, a delicious lunch was had in her honor complete with gifts galore and smiles a-plenty. Later, younger sister Isabelle, right, performed at UK’s Singletary Center for the Arts as part of the Christmas production Collage. Izzy is a member of Lexington Children’s Choir which opened the show. It included a number of area choirs as well as UK’s Acoustikats (below), featured on The Sing Off which premiers tomorrow on NBC. All the girls loved these boys, and mercy, what’s not to love? They’re easy on the eye and incredibly talented, just like Rebecca and Isabelle. Hang time with these young ladies was such a delightful way to start the Christmas season. I’m pretty dang lucky.
