tea for…three

This is the kind of day I had. This is also one of my favorite pictures. I rarely say such, but in this case, it’s true. So much joy in this photo. I started my day with a visit with my old friend Kim Cox Cook. It was good to see and talk with her, one of my oldest, dearest friends. We talked for nearly an hour. I trust it won’t be the last of our long talks. We have many a country road yet to travel together. The day soon found me and Stacy singing an impromptu Happy Birthday to BFF Maggie Jacobs. She had no idea we were going to drop in, and our timing was perfect; we pulled in as the vet pulled out. All the babies and mares turned out, we soon settled in for an afternoon of coffee and laughs. I tell you, I wouldn’t trade this day for anything.
