They did a lot of work to Rupp Arena several years ago, and it really changed the look of downtown from certain angles, this being one. I enjoyed living downtown when I was an undergrad. It was wildly convenient to downtown life and campus. With better parking and affordable housing, I wouldn’t oppose living there again. There’s a lot more going on downtown now than there was thirty years ago, and that would keep me on my toes. Plus, if you can’t live way out in the country in the dark, might as well live in all the light.
