It was Taste of the World (or something like that) day at UK. The lot of us in Special Collections braved the cold to sample foods from around the world prepared by UK catering. The lines were long, but the company was great as demonstrated by Stacy Yelton and Crystal Heis. We saw lots of old friends, and made at least one new friend. He found us huddled around a wide-rimmed garbage can using it as a table, which he found to be clever. We kept running into him, usually near a garbage can, and I wish we’d gotten his name because he was cool. The most clever of all, however, was the guy standing behind Crystal and Stacy (below). He wisely brought a shallow box to hold all of his tiny plates. Thanks to him we’re ready for next year.
