“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”
~ Leo Buscaglia

One good thing about winter is it’s too cold to leave the front door open, meaning I get some peace during dinner. But it was beautiful today and I just couldn’t deny Wally the chance to watch the neighborhood. Poor Wally is taunted by the squirrels. They will sit and stare at hime. Sometimes they’ll even come and sit at the windows, staring at him, actually look for him inside the house. He so desperately wants to catch them. I fear someday he’s going to go through the glass door. Still, he’s so stinkin’ cute I can’t get too panicked about it, even though he makes me jump out of my skin sometimes.
