Hopefully we’ve seen the only ice storm for 2014. Last night’s event was both beautiful and treacherous. After nearly 1/2″ of accumulation, breaking trees and tipping power lines, the temperature rose just enough for the moisture to turn to rain. It made for an equally beautiful and treacherous day, but it was nothing good conversation and delicious coffee couldn’t fix. I love winter.
