“People that make you smile on your worst days are so important” ~ Unknown

stubborn

Heaps of snow can be tenacious. Every winter, I’m amazed at how a pile of cold water can hold its form as the thermometer rises. In other news, people seemed a lot less stressed today. I’m grateful for that, and I’m thankful for those tenacious mounds of frozen water. You know, much like people who return to dust upon death, the snow never really goes away. It’s transformed back into what they were before: water. Nothing is permanent, yet nothing ever goes away. To quote Joni Mitchell, “We are stardust.”
