Why I – the woman that rarely drinks alcohol and even less likely wine when I do – have ended up with the leftover wine from NYE parties is beyond me. I keep thinking I’ll have an opportunity to share with friends, but they either bring their own drinks or don’t drink alcohol. Maybe I’m meant to be a wine collector. People do it. Of course, they’re usually conneseauers and actually know what they’re collecting. I could claim to collect for the labels. Or I could just keep waiting for my wine drinking friends to happen along to share with. Meanwhile, I’ll just drink my iced tea, enjoy the way the bottles look in the sun, and enjoy this new year!
