Yours truly turned 55 years old today. I now qualify for senior discounts at Kroger on Senior Wednesdays. Even AARP sent me a birthday greeting. Sheesh! However, every year I have a birthday I just marvel that I’m still alive. I was hard on my poor little body my first 35 years on this plane. Anyway, I’m most pleased to still be here and relatively healthy, and have birthday steak dinner with these two fine folks. Texts started coming in at 7 a.m., coworkers sang to me when I got to work, birthday cards and gifts, loads of facebook birthday wishes. I had a great day start to finish. I’ll be right pleased to start collecting those senior discounts now.
