If you’re in central Kentucky and have any appreciation at all for good music, then you’re familiar with Mitch Barrett and Carla Gover. I’ve been listening to them for 25 years or more, either together as Zoe Speaks or in their own projects. The Berea Craft Festival certainly wouldn’t be the same without Mitch. He is always playing at the festival either by himself or in some musical combo. Carla plays a mean clawhammer-style banjo. Their two voices are beautiful together.
