“It takes courage to say yes to rest and play in a culture where exhaustion is seen as a status symbol.” ~ Brenè Brown
That’s right friends, the world is alive again on UK’s campus where we were entertained at lunch by the passing by of the Shark Week blimp. At first we thought it was a dog. Frankly, I thought it looked like Flipper (definitely dating myself with that pop culture reference). It’s pretty funny seeing a Shark Week anything in Lexington, Kentucky, perhaps the world’s most land-locked city. We don’t even sit on a river or creek. We’ve got a spring sort of near downtown. Otherwise, it’s just a bunch of drainage ditches. In any case, the blimp made the evening news. Discovery Channel must have paid a fortune for that blimp’s 15 minutes of fame.
