“Each of us is a thread in one anothers tapestry. Our lives are woven together for a reason.” ~ Unknown

illusions

I popped off a few shots in the rearview mirror (not recommended, by the way). There’s no clear definition along the bottom, and no complete view of what’s outside the windshield. They overlap, meld into a single moment; a mosaic of pieces that work and depend on each other to make a whole picture. It’s striking the similarity between this photo’s illusion and our lives. The many ways we depend on one another. The ways we converge then separate over time…like a fantastic illusory tapestry. No wonder we have trouble figuring things out sometimes! But that’s half the fun of illusions, isn’t it? Maybe that’s half the fun of life, too. We just get too uptight sometimes to appreciate it. I think it’s time to relax. <insert smile here>
