Another shot from the Robinson fire tower, but without the tower. Looking into the eastern Kentucky mountains of Breathitt, Knott, and Perry counties, this is the area of my paternal lineage. This is also the area hardest hit by the 2022 floods. I feel pulled to this part of the mountains because I have many generations of ancestors buried in the folds. Hopefully, retirement will offer the time to explore.
