Dreaming Creek Brewery was new to me when Crystal ordered a Blonde Ale at last week’s Lyle Lovett show in Richmond. She said it was good. I’m not finding a website for the brewery to learn more about them and their craft beers, but there’s a little here on the Richmond tourism site. “They have also branded two beers especially for EKU. 1874 IPA is a blond ale and the date refers to the year the university was founded, while Gold Toe IPA is an homage to the statue of Daniel Boone located on campus (students can frequently be seen rubbing Dan’l’s toe when they feel in need of good luck.)” I’ll need to go to Richmond again to try one.
