Marie’s sisters Patty and Cricket helped set up the surprise birthday party. They pulled it all together, food, decorations, and timed the surprise perfectly. I’m pretty sure they enjoyed seeing Marie as happy as she was to be happy. I mean, can’t you feel their love for her in the photos? In the “before times,” aka before the pandemic, Patty and Cricket would come to campus and join the lunch ladies for lunch. It was always a treat to see them, and it was really spectacular to see them after such a long isolation.
