I woke up ready to tackle the world. My brain was running a thousand miles an hour, and I had to get things done. I did, too. After a long day of tasking, Stacy Yelton and I took a drive out Pisgah Pike during the Golden Hour. We headed for the Presbyterian Church which I’ve wanted to photograph for a long time, along with its graveyard. It was built in 1812, and the graveyard holds many Revolutionary War soldiers from the area. Pisgah Pike is one of America’s Scenic Byways. It meanders through exquisite horse farms. If you’re ever in Kentucky, and you really want a taste of the Bluegrass, this is one area you should explore. It even has a castle (below)!
