I finally had the chance to get away for a day, so I loaded up the car with my cameras and Stacy Yelton and off to Asheville, North Carolina we went. The traffic was horrid, making a long drive longer, but a rainy sunset from the Blue Ridge Parkway was totally worth it. The overcast sky and distant rain shower set a mystical scene. Stacy snapped a beautiful wide-angle shot of it. I zeroed in on the cascading mountains. We live on a beautiful planet with endless possibilities. Carpe diem.
