Midway has a new bookstore, and boy, is it fabulous! A Likely Story is situated on Main Street in the old bank building. They’ve fixed the vault as a reading room. Nearby is a pay-as-you-drink coffee bar. No waitress or clean-up necessary. Find a book you like – new or “loved” – take your coffee into the vault and have a read long enough to decide to buy it (’cause you probably should if you’re going to nestle with it). Kudos to the owners of this delightful little place. Ya’ll should go, especially on June 21st from 5:30 to 7:00, when BFF Erin Chandler and Rabbit House Books bring their latest author for a reading.
