“In case nobody told you today, you are good enough.” ~ Unknown
There’s a liquor store in Southland with these great ads painted on their wall. I love them. They’re like the old Coca-Cola and Mail Pouch Tobacco paintings that covered whole barns. We need more of them, on lots of walls. They’re so much more aesthetically pleasing than billboards and blank brick. The world can always use more color. I hope they hired an artist to do these and not just painted in some stencil. There was an art to making these things back in the day. Not just anyone could do them. I have hope the art of giant mural ads isn’t dead; that somewhere out there is an artist who knows the fine art of lettering and color and perfect lines. I have hope.
