“Whether we like it or not, we have all been born on this earth as part of one great family. Rich or poor, educated or uneducated, belonging to one nation, religion, ideology, or another, ultimately each of us is just a human being like everyone else.” ~ Dalai Lama
Stacy had a neighbor with the biggest mimosa tree I’d ever seen. The fragrance was so thick and delicious it wafted up and down the street on the breeze making me homesick for Oklahoma. I was renting a house there one summer with the world’s most beautiful mimosa trees in front. Ever since they’ve reminded me of Oklahoma – Lance, Angie and Mark Sweeney in particular. Stacy dug up a few volunteers. I transplanted them in my yard. That was six years ago, and today, for the first time, they bloomed. I am so thrilled!
