Stacy and I found affordable mulch today, and two Zinnia that needed to come be part of the garden. After a stop at Crank and Boom for some summer sweets, it became a matter of waiting for the sun to go down a bit so the tender leaves wouldn’t burn from the water. A rearrangement of the accouterments, four bags of mulch, and water. I even found and added small water bowls for the ground critters, but notice my ground critters are nowhere to be seen. Maybe the mulch put them off. I’m good with that. And now, we wait for it all to fill out and bloom. I enjoyed the view from the little garage porch with this morning’s coffee, and I expect many more such fulfilling mornings. Ya’ll come have coffee with me.
